Lóndrangar

The Lóndrangar are a pair of rock pinnacles in Iceland. They are volcanic plugs of basalt, that have been hewn out from softer surrounding rock by erosion.

It was crazy windy up here, but still I found the strength just to sit and try to absorb the energy from this place. As mentioned in my previous post, Iceland has so many faces within short distance, so when I turned around, I did not see anymore high rocks, but beautifully shaped cliffs.

DSC_1123.jpgAs most of the quick trips come to the end, this one did as well. On the way back to the Reykjavik airport, my awesome owner stopped for last breathe in / breathe out break exactly at the very moment sun was going down. The pinkish sky was mesmerizing and I only wished to express to the world… “Please appreciate the nature and everyone around you, only this way you will wake up and fall asleep smiling. I do.”
