This is a unique place to walk in the sandy lava fields, see the charming black church, and stroll on one of the few golden beaches of Iceland.

And again … the view… something I will never get tired off…

I did enjoy splashing around in-between of lava stones, that was fun!

Another thing I find very interesting in Iceland is, that at one moment you are in water and it doesn’t give you any impression of winter cold except the chilliness, and then you turn around, walk 500m and you are right in the middle of a winter beauty …

Walking closer to the mountains, exciting moment happened… I met my first new friend. His name is Olafur and he was true fun to be around. I couldn’t stop looking at him, nor listening to his stories. He also shared the sad moment he was going through. He is Puffin and at this time of the year, they are not supposed to be around and especially not alone. He was sad and scared of how he will get through winter on his own. He didn’t know what to do, so I told him to try to fly high to the sky, pay attention to what he sees and there the answer will be…

This was yet another amazing day filled with cold, good vibes, amazing company and happy heart … after all, that’s all what matters …
